This past week I had the privilege of speaking with Richard Kerr and the content team over at BILT, a credit card rewards program that specializing in earning rewards points for rent. The first of its kind.
Richard Kerr, VP of travel and BILT rewards personality, hosts a show named “On-Point,” a weekly show dedicated to travel, financial tips and tricks, as well as credit card point travel hacks. This past week, BILT decided to pilot a new segment of the show titled “On Point Live,” a live “call-in” style show answering BILT members’ steaming questions about travel, money, and finance.
I was lucky enough to debut the pilot show this past week.
The interview started off by Richard asking me about myself, who I was, and what my question was. I wanted to know how to best spend my BILT points on my college spring break coming up early 2024.
From there, it was a natural conversation. We talked about a potential destinations I could spend my 25,000 BILT points on, and Richard settled on three key locations.
1. Mexico City
2. Argentina (my favorite)
3. Chile
We also talked about getting more Gen-z and college students involved in smart money finance tips like BILT, which I enjoyed.
We wrapped it up by speaking a little about future plans for my travel, and where I am going to spend my BILT points next.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience to speak with Richard Kerr and the BILT team, and be apart of the pilot for this exciting new episode series. After speaking with the head of content over at BILT, it seems there may be an opportunity for a potential return on my part.
